1950-present theatre stages?

okay, so in my a-level drama class i've been asked to research 1950-present theatres. such as going into detail about how the stage works (as in 'rotation stages'?!) how the detailed architecture creates effect and other aspects of the overall theatre adds to the play. so i started off on good old google but didn't know where to go from there?! does anyone know any websites for this kind of stuff? it would be REALLY appreciated!

There are different types of theatre spaces:
Proscenium (the most common)
Thrust
Theatres in the Round
Black Boxes

Each of these have to do with the shape of the stage and the audience configuration.
