Atomizers – From Liquid to Fine Mist!
Atomizers are used to convert vapors into atomic constituents. They are used in various industries, including pharmaceutical and food. Online, one can find valuable information on atomizers, CIP nozzles and they way they work. An entire list of products has been brought online by specialized companies, wanting to cater to the demand of their customers.
The process goes like this. You have a liquid that is going to be transformed into a fine mist through the use of a nebulizer. Atomizers have the main function of evaporating the solvents and vaporizing the rest until atomization. They generally function on flame or plasma, being highly effective when it comes to converting liquid into mist. CIP nozzles are also extremely useful in this industry, as the liquid passes through them.
Apart from industry-specific atomizers, we can find such dispensers in every day life: carburetors, misters and sprays. For the spray to be formed, professionals also use what is called a spray dryer. This device, along with the CIP nozzles, help to the formation of spray. The liquid is transformed through atomization becoming a spray, described as fine droplets or mist. With the aid of the spray dryer, evaporation of the solvents is increased. This method uses hot has but there are certain materials where nitrogen gas replaces the first, as the drying process should involve no oxygen.
Atomizers have a principal chamber where the drying process is carried out. No matter if you choose rotary or centrifugal atomizers, the principle of the device remains the same. The liquid enters the atomizer and the end result is a mist of spray. Rotary atomizers have their own advantages, each and every one being presented in detail on the Internet. Each of these atomizers has different designs and functions, depending on the customer’s needs. If you want a different distribution rate of the particles, then you had better use a spray dryer.
Centrifugal atomizers convert the liquid into a spray of fine particles through the use of centrifugal force (outward-developing). The process of atomization depends on the liquid that is going to be transformed into droplets and several parameters involved, such as the speed and temperature. Specialists analyze every factor involved with the atomizing process, including the viscosity, surface tension and type of rotary valves used. Distribution is also important, just as the use of either hot gas or nitrogen. For atomizers to perform at their maximum capacity, all these parameters should be known.
When operating atomizers and CIP nozzles, it’s important to take all necessary safety measures and precautions. Specialists monitor constantly the devices, looking for possible problems and registering spray parameters. It’s highly important to determine bearings temperature, control the vibration and cycle’s lubrication. Rotary valves should also be inspected, especially as they remove powder and granules that results from the spray dryer. Online, you can read additional information on rotary valves, discovering standard and tailor-made devices.
CIP nozzles have the main function of cleaning tanks, evaporators and filters. Mainly we are talking about any equipment involved in the atomization process. Based on the concept of rotation, CIP nozzles provide an increased level of cleaning. They are necessary for the atomization process, just like many of the other devices mentioned here!

Air Conditioning Basics: Major Components and How They Work
It is somehow hard to determine the difference between the various air conditioning models for an average person. That is why it is recommended by some experts to have the basic background on the major parts of an air conditioner and how it works before buying your own unit. You should understand the basic concept of the operation of this appliance in order to have the idea of what makes an air conditioner attain quality performance.
An air conditioning system typically draws hot air from the room in order to provide a cooling effect. It works similarly to a refrigerator where heat energy is extracted from the object stored and passed to the appliance’s exterior. In an air conditioner, a substance called Freon is commonly used as the refrigerant for the cooling process. The Freon usually travels in a cycle through the three major parts of the air conditioning system which are the compressor, condenser, and the evaporator.
The compressor is the part that compresses the refrigerant to pressurize it while lowering its temperature. It is actually comparable to the lungs of a human body which does the same process on the air that is breathed in and out. There are two main types of air compressor. One of these is the positive air compressor which can be further classified as rotary sliding vane or a reciprocating type. Positive air compressors typically work by filling and emptying a chamber repeatedly. Meanwhile, the other main type of air compressor is the dynamic type. This air compressor adjusts the velocity of the air in the chamber with the use of a rotational member. One example of this compressor is the centrifugal type.
The compressed refrigerant is passed into the second air conditioning part called the condenser. In this part, the refrigerant undergoes a condensation that is similar to the process that occurs in the clouds. Condensing the compressed Freon is usually needed to cool it further before it is passed to the evaporator. The evaporator is another important element of an air conditioning system where the last stage of the refrigeration cycle takes place. This part undergoes an evaporation mechanism that transforms the refrigerant back to its gaseous state. The process repeats from the start once the evaporated Freon has been returned to the compressor. This entire process is actually called refrigeration cycle.
In addition to the three main air conditioning parts, another part is called the thermostat sensor. This part stops the refrigeration process once the room atmosphere and the air conditioner has achieved thermal equilibrium. This condition takes place only when the two isolated bodies have equal temperature level. Other important components are the fan and the blower which are responsible for the circulation of cooled air. Meanwhile, the control panel is where you can adjust the unit’s overall setting. Modern air conditioning units include multiple settings that you can tweak to find the correct level of ventilation. Newer models of air conditioning systems are enhanced with additional features. These features are usually intended to provide extra convenience as well as safety measures for the users. Some air conditioners are also designed with programmable functions to save energy consumption during the complicated yet quick operation.

Can I use ROUND BOILING FLASK instead on ROTARY EVAPORATOR FLASK in using the ROTARY EVAPORATOR?
BOTH have the 24/40 joints... the problem is the rotary evaporator flask (buchi brand) is pear-shape.. anyone can help me?
The method itself will not care what type of flask you use as long as you can deliver the same amount of heat per unit time to the boiling flask. And since the heating mantle power is adjustable, I would think that you could do this. So the main problem is the practical one of will the round flask fit in place of the evaporator flask? If it does, you're good.
