A question about the temperature control unit in my mercedes benz?
My 1988 Mercedes Benz has been idling a bit high when in park....it also idles low when i am driving(problem seems worse when I have the heater and radio on) and come to a stop(RPMs at 600 or less). I recently changed the idle valve on it, but the problem persists. I have been told that it could be the Temperature Control Unit that's the problem, but someone else mentioned to me that it could be that the idling just needs and adjustment. Does anyone know what could be causing this??
